At a time when anyone can book someone else's apartment or taxi with one click, you should be able to make a social impact just as easily. As a non-profit association, we work on this every day. Welcome to letsact!

Our platform makes it simple for everyone to contribute their time and talents where they matter most. We stand for a culture of action and solidarity—making real, sustainable change possible.Who are we? A remote-first team with main offices in Berlin and Munich. Our passionate employees are dedicated to the cause of volunteer engagement and support the big vision of letsact: connecting people globally to do more good.
We started our beta phase in Munich in August 2018. As “Tinder for Volunteering”, we quickly made headlines and developed into the largest volunteering app in Germany with thousands of volunteers and organizations that rely on us.
We run the free platform including the letsact app as a non-profit association and thus finance ourselves through funding, donations and sponsors.

Ludwig and Paul launched letsact in 2018 to make it easier for people to access engagement opportunities. Lena joined a year later and founded Letsact e.V. together with the two of them in 2021.

"letsact ist ein Paradebeispiel für eine Plattform, die Helferinnen und Helfer sowie Hilfesuchende in ganz Deutschland einfach zusammenbringt. Gerade in der derzeitigen Situation kann das Leben retten.”
We’re flexible and give our team a lot of freedom, starting from choosing a place and time for work, to encouraging new skills, even beyond the scope of daily routines.
They say that there's no shame in failing, the shame is in not trying. We believe this is the best approach to building a successful, open-minded team. The confidence to take ownership and question the status quo are essential to the workplace we want to build.
A culture of feedback needs a foundation of kindness. We believe that openness and transparency promotes the exchange of constructive two-way feedback that helps to build a better workplace and happier team members.
We're flexible and give our team a lot of freedom, starting from choosing a place and time for work, to encouraging new skills, even beyond the scope of daily routines. Believe it or not, this can be a challenge because being independent means taking responsibility for your own decisions and actions.
We've always wanted to go beyond creating a product to building a culture that's open, free, creative, bold, safe and easy-going for everyone. Not just a great workplace for employees, but for people. Our doors are wide open to everyone who wants to create good things, develop this place and be at home. Be yourself.

Lea joined the letsact team in September 2025. She is originally from Canada and previously worked in social impact consulting, strategy, and organizational development. She is passionate about addressing social issues at their root and believes that bringing people together to share knowledge, skills, resources, and compassion yields the best results for everyone.

Robin joined the letsact team as a Community Manager in January 2026. After graduating from high school in Stuttgart, he volunteered and served as a peer counselor at take Stuttgart, where he educated others about safer use. With training as a pharmacy technician, a bachelor’s degree in social work, and experience as a Community Manager in the Web3 sector, he brings a diverse range of perspectives to the table. His goal: to raise the profile of volunteer work, rethink its role, and create impact together.

In 2018, Ludwig co-founded letsact with Paul. He wanted to create a space where anyone could easily do good and contribute to a better world. He is a perfectionist and an idealist, and enjoys spending his free time surfing the Eisbach with friends.

From his own experience, Paul knows that getting started with volunteer work isn’t always easy. That’s why he founded letsact together with Ludwig. Through the platform, he wants to make it easier for people to do good and inspire more people to get involved.

Even while she was still in school, Lena launched a charity project for underprivileged children. At letsact, she brought her passion for social advocacy to bear, represented the organization both internally and externally, and played a key role in its fundraising efforts.
